Determine the System Software (Firmware) Version Installed on the Printer

To determine the software version from the Control Panel of the printer:

  1. Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel.

  2. Select the [Machine Details] button. The machine software version is listed under Current System Software.

To determine the software version using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS):

  1. From the computer, open an Internet browser window.

  2. Enter the IP address of the printer in the Address field, and then press [Enter] on the keyboard. The CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) window will be displayed.

  3. Click on the [Properties] button.

  4. If the Login screen is displayed, enter the user name in the User ID field, and the password in the Password field, and then click on the [Login] button.

    NOTE: The default username is admin (case sensitive), and the default password is 1111.

  5. Click on [General Setup] to expand the list of options.

  6. Click on [Configuration]. The Configuration page will be displayed.

  7. Click on the [Printer Setup] link. The System Software Version will be listed in the Printer Setup section.

  8. When finished, close the browser window.
