The enablement code is 8-digits long and is located on a sticker on the packaging of the optionally purchased kit or on the inside cover of the documentation. This code is required to enable the feature on the machine.
The enablement code may also be required to restore the option if any major work by the Customer Service Engineer (technician) is required on the printer. The enablement code should be kept in a safe location for future reference.
If this is a new machine and the enablement code is not known, contact your Xerox Sales Representative to obtain the code.
If this is not a new machine and the enablement code is not known, contact XDSS to obtain the code. See the Related Content for additional information.
NOTE:There is a small fee to obtain a new enablement code, should XDSS be contacted. Only the Xerox Sales Representative or XDSS have access to the enablement codes.
XDSS also handles purchasing additional licenses for software.
