NOTE: When troubleshooting image quality problems, it is important to understand in which situations the problem occurs.

When experiencing an image quality problem and your machine is equipped to make prints, scans and copies, always print a document from a computer, and make a copy from both the Document (Scanner) Glass and the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).

Make sure to select a case situation for the specific problem that is occurring:

  • Printing Only

  • Copying or Scanning from the Document Glass Only

  • Copying or Scanning from the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)

  • Printing and Copying

  • Printing, Copying and Scanning
