Set the USB Port State in Sleep Mode Option to Powered

When USB Port State in Sleep Mode is set to Powered, the device allows USB (Type A) accessories to operate when the rest of the device is in Sleep mode. This permits Wi-Fi to maintain communication, Card Reader activity to wake the machine, or USB Printing to wake the machine.
At the control panel, press the Log In/Out button.
Enter the system administrator username and touch Next. The default user name is admin.
Enter the system administrator password and touch Done.
Note: Depending on when the device was manufactured, the default administrator password may be the device serial number or 1111.Press the Machine Status button.
Select the Tools tab.
Select Network Settings.
Select USB Settings.
Select USB Port State in Sleep Mode.
Change the setting from Not Powered to Powered.
Select OK to save.
Press the Log In / Out button and then select Logout.
