Ensure Bi-Directional Communication is Enabled in the Print Driver

  1. Open the Printers or Printers and Faxes window. 

  2. Right click on the printer icon and select Printer Properties or Properties from the pop-up menu.

  3. Click on the Configuration tab.

  4. Select Automatic or Manual from the Bi-Directional Communication Connection drop down menu.

  5. If Manual was selected, click the Setup button for SNMP Community Name and configure as required then click OK.

  6. Click Apply.

  7. Click OK twice to close Properties.
