Re-install Drivers on a Computer With Windows 8.8.1 or 10 for a Network Connection

IMPORTANT:
These steps assume that the printer has been connected to the network properly and the printer driver software has been installed once before. If the driver software has not been installed already, refer to Install the Print Drivers for a Windows Network Printer. for additional information.
You must know the current IP address of the printer to perform this solution. To obtain the printer's current IP address, refer to Find the IP Address of Your Printer.
To Re-install Drivers on a Computer With Windows 8.8.1 or Windows 10 for a Network Connection:
From the Devices and Printers window, click Add Printer.
Click The printer that I want isn't listed.
Click Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings.
Select the appropriate port for the printer. If a port (print queue) using the printer's IP address has already been created on this computer, select Use an existing port and then select the Standard TCP/IP port previously created for this printer. If a Standard TCP/IP port does not already exist for this printer, perform the following to create a port:
Select Create a New Port.
Select Standard TCP/IP Port from the Type of port pull-down menu, then click Next.
Enter the IP address or hostname of the printer in the Hostname or IP address field.
Uncheck the box stating "Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use" and click Next.
Click Have Disk.
Click Browse.
Browse to the driver .inf file installed by the Xerox driver installation wizard. The default driver installation path is located at C:/Xerox. Select the printer driver .inf file and click Open.
Click OK.
Select the product model of the printer, then click Next.
If prompted to use the current driver or to replace the current driver, click Use the driver that is currently installed (recommended) and click Next.
Enter a name for the printer in the field provided.
Click Next to begin the installation of the print driver. This may take a few minutes.
When the installation has completed, Printer Sharing options will be displayed. Select to share the printer as needed; otherwise, select Do not share this printer and click Next.
Click Print a test page (optional), then click Finish.
