Make Sure the Tray is Not Overloaded and That Paper is Aligned Properly in the Tray

If necessary, remove some of the paper. Do not load paper past fill line.
If the edges of the paper are not even, remove the paper, align the edges, and then reload it in the tray.
If the paper is wrinkled or warped, remove the paper, smooth it out, and reload it. If it still misfeeds, do not use that paper.
