Remove and Re-install the Imaging Unit

CAUTION: Do not expose an Imaging Unit to direct sunlight or strong light from indoor fluorescent lighting. Image quality may deteriorate if a unit is exposed to light longer than five minutes.

Be careful not to spill Toner (Dry Ink) when handling the Imaging Unit. Do not use warm water or cleaning solvents to remove Toner from your skin or clothing. This will set the Toner and make it difficult to remove. If any Toner gets on your skin or clothing, use a brush to remove the Toner, or wash it off with cold water and mild soap.

1. Open the Front Door.

2. Rotate the two lock levers to release the Imaging Unit Door, and then lower it.

3. Grasp the handle on the Imaging Unit, and then pull it halfway out of the printer.

4. Grasp one side of the unit with the other hand, and then pull the unit straight out of the printer.

5. Gently slide the Imaging Unit back into the slot in the printer.

6. Close the Imaging Unit Door.

7. Rotate the two lock levers to lock the Imaging Unit Door.

8. Close the Front Door.
