The Wireless Print Solutions Adapter (WPSA) is a bridging device that allows your printer to connect to a wireless network.
If you are having networking or connectivity problems, check to see if your printer has a WPSA connected. If so, the following steps can be used to help diagnose whether the networking problem is with the WPSA or the rest of the system.
Check that the WPSA’s power supply is plugged into a reliable power source.
Check that the Ethernet cable is plugged securely into the WPSA and your printer.
Check the main status LED on the WPSA.
Green LED indicates normal function of the WPSA. Click back on your browser and continue searching using other keywords such as “Ethernet”, “Network”, or “Connection”. Or, consult with your network administrator for additional steps to troubleshoot the printer-to-network connection.
Blinking amber-colored LED or no LED illumination indicates a problem with the WPSA.
NOTE: For additional information and troubleshooting, search the WPSA knowledge base.
