Using the Printer Properties window provided by the Printers configuration, the various properties can be changed for the printer.
Open the Unified Driver Configurator. If necessary, switch to Printers configuration.
Select the printer on the available printers list and click on [Properties]. The Printer Properties window will be displayed. Select any required settings from the tabs listed below.
Click on [OK] to apply the changes and close the Printer Properties window.
The following five tabs display at the top of the window:
General: This option allows the printer location and name to be changed. The name entered in this tab displays on the printer list in Printers configuration.
Connection: This option allows the port to be viewed or for another port to be selected. If the port is changed from USB to parallel or vice versa while in use, this table must also be used to re-configure the machine port.
Driver: This option allows another driver to be viewed or selected. By selecting Options, the default device options can be set.
Jobs: This option shows the list of Print jobs. Select Cancel job to cancel the selected job, and select the Show completed jobs check box to see previous jobs on the job list.
Classes: This option shows the class that the printer is in. Select Add to Class to add the printer to a specific class or select Remove from Class to remove the printer from the selected class.
