Connect to the Phaser 4510 With a Parallel Cable

A parallel cable connection can be used to connect to one computer. This type of connection provides the slowest data speeds. Parallel connection requires a standard-to-high density Parallel printer cable (36-pin high-density 1284-C [male] to 36-pin low density 1284-B [male] cable) with a maximum length of 3 meters (10 feet).
Power OFF the computer.
Power OFF the printer. Press the power switch that is located on the front of the printer, on the bottom left side, to the (O) position.
Connect one end of the Parallel cable to the back of the printer.
Connect the other end of the cable to the computer.
Power ON the computer and let it boot up completely.
Power ON the printer.
