Power Off the FreeFlow Makeready Workstation

  1. Close any open applications that are open on the workstation. Click on [File] on the toolbar, and then select [Exit] in the application, or click on the [X] in the upper, right corner to close the application.

  2. Power off the workstation.

    1. Click on [Start] and select [Shutdown]. The Shutdown Windows window will be displayed.

    2. Select [Shutdown] in the pull-down field, and then click [OK] to shutdown and power off the workstation.

      NOTE: If your intent is to power the system on immediately following the power off, please note that the unit should remain off for at least 20 seconds before powering the unit on.

  3. Wait until the monitor screen becomes dark and the green LED near the power button on the monitor has changed to an amber color, then power off the monitor using the power button on the front, bottom right-hand side.

  4. Power off the Scanner using the power switch on the right side of the Scanner, toward the rear.

  5. Power off any external peripheral devices using the power switches on the device. Two of the possible external devices are pictured below.

    MOD Drive:



    NOTE: If there is an optical disk in the MOD drive when the drive is Powered ON, the start-up time is shorter. See the Related Content for additional information.
