There are a number of requirements that need to be met before accessing Internet Services. If you do not know if your computer and machine have the necessary software, contact a Network or System Administrator.

  • The machine should be physically connected to the network with TCP/IP and HTTP enabled. To make sure TCP/IP and HTTP are enabled, print a System Settings (Configuration) Report. See the Related Content for additional information.

  • The TCP/IP and HTTP settings are located on the Configuration Report under the Network Setup - HTTP settings section. The report will indicate if TCP/IP and HTTP is enabled or disabled. If it is disabled, contact your System Administrator.

  • An operational computer with TCP/IP Internet or Intranet accessibility.

  • A web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.

  • The IP address of the machine to access the Internet Services web site. The IP Address is printed on the Configuration Report.

To access the printer's CentreWare Internet Services web page:

  1. From the computer, open an Internet browser window.

  2. Enter the IP address for the machine in the Address field, and then press [Enter] on the keyboard. The Internet Services home page will be displayed.

NOTE: It is a good idea to add the printer's IP address to the browser Favorites so that it can be easily accessed in the future.
