Modify the Resolution for a Scan Template on a DocuColor 242|252|260 With a Built-in Fiery Controller

NOTE: The DocuColor must be configured for TCP/IP (with an IP address, subnet mask, broadcast address, and gateway address), and Web Services must be enabled to perform the steps in this solution. If necessary, print a System Settings (Configuration) Report and make sure the machine has an IP address and that Web Services is enabled. See the Related Content for additional information.
From the computer, open an Internet browser window.
Enter the IP address or DNS name of the Fiery Server in the Address field, and then press [Enter] on the keyboard. The Fiery WebTools window will be displayed.
Click on the [Scan Settings] tab. The Scan Templates window will be displayed.
Enter the Administrator user name and password in the login fields provided, and then click on [Login].
NOTE: The default administrator user name is “admin” and the password is “Fiery.1”. If the password has been modified, contact your System Administrator.Select the required template from the list, and then click on the [Edit] icon.
Scroll down to the Document Settings section and select the required Scan Resolution from the Resolution pull-down menu.
NOTE: When selecting a higher dpi, the quality of the scanned image will improve, however the file size will be much larger.
The available options are:200 dpi
300 dpi
400 dpi
600 dpi
Click on [Save].
Close the browser window.
