License Accxes Indexer or Accxes Copy

Accxes Indexer / Accxes Copy is licensed to the Host ID of your computer. The license information only needs to be entered the first time you open either Accxes Indexer or Accxes Copy.

NOTE: Administration rights are required to license Accxes Indexer / Accxes Copy.

Prerequisites:

• The license (activation) key file is required.

• The Host ID (Mac Address) to the host computer. The Host ID (Mac Address) is displayed at first launch of Accxes Indexer or Accxes Copy in the License window.

• The serial number that came with the software. The serial number is located on the license sheet (one-page document) that accompanies the software installation CD-ROM. The license (activation) key information is also located on this sheet.

To obtain a Accxes Indexer / Accxes Copy license:

1. From the computer, open an Internet browser window.

2. Enter the address of the Software Activation Portal (SWAP) website in the Address field: https://www.xeroxlicensing.xerox.com/activation/ and then press [Enter] on the keyboard. The SWAP window will be displayed.

3. Enter the activation key, and then click on [Next].

4. Enter the following:

   • Hardware Address (MAC ID)

   • Serial Number

5. Click on [Next].

6. Enter user information, including:

   • Company name

   • First and Last Name

   • Address

   • E-mail address.

7. Click on [Next].

8. Make sure the user information has been entered correctly, and then click on the [Save and Download License File] button.

9. Save the license file (.DAT file) to the required location on the computer's hard drive.
   
   NOTE: Keep a copy of the .DAT file with all its required information in the event that you ever need to reactivate the license.
