Encryption Credential has Expired Message for Airprint Services When Printing

NOTE: Error message appears after an upgrade in the MAC OSX where the user gets Encryption Credential has Expired message. Removing and reinstalling regular print diver won't fix the problem. Please follow these steps to remove old driver and install new Non-Encrypted Airprint driver:

Uninstall your Mac Printer Driver

  1. Select the Apple menu.

  2. Select System Preferences.

  3. Select Printers and Scanners.

    NOTE: Depending on the Mac version the name of the menu may vary to Print & Fax or Print & Scan.

  4. Highlight the Xerox printer and select the minus - remove button.

  5. Select the Delete Printer button.

    NOTE: Depending on the Mac version this button may instead be OK.

 Install Driver while ensuring AirPrint is selected

  1. Make sure your Mac is connected to your Wi-Fi network.

  2. Make sure your printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network.

  3. Select the plus + sign to add the printer. A new window will open

  4. Select the printer name from the dropdown menu.

    NOTE: If the printer name is not shown select the IP address tab and enter the printers IP Address to find your printer.

  5. Select Airprint from the USE dropdown menu.

    NOTE: Do not select Secure Airprint.

  6. Select the Add button.

  7. Close the Printers and Scanners Window.

  8. Close the System Preferences Window.
