It is recommended to search by Messages or by the Active Alert unless the Fault is obtained from the Fault History.

To search on a fault code / status code, enter one code at a time exactly as it is displayed.

When a fault or alert condition occurs, a message will be displayed on the Control Panel Touch Screen to inform you of the problem. If more than one condition occurs, only one displays on the Control Panel.

  • Alert messages inform you about printer conditions, such as low supplies or open doors, that require your attention.

  • Fault messages warn you about printer conditions that prevent the printer from printing or degraded printing performance.

NOTE: Fault codes / Status codes are displayed on the Control Panel Touch Screen or the Embedded Web Server in one of the the following formats:

  • Embedded Web Server: a 2-digit number followed by a 3-digit number and then a 2-digit number. For example:

    xx.xxx.xx

  • At the Machine [Fault History]: a 3-digit number followed by a 3 digit number and then a 2 digit number. For example:
    xxx.xxx.xx
