Due to normal variations in the manufacturing process of solid ink sticks, cosmetic variations may be present on the surface of an ink stick. These variations do not impact printer performance or the color of prints made from these sticks.

Cosmetic variations in solid ink sticks are normal; these ink sticks can be used in a printer. Below are examples of cosmetic variations that typically do not constitute a reason for the return or exchange of the ink.

Examples of Acceptable Cosmetic Variations of Solid Ink Sticks

  1. Cracks or chips on the surface of the ink stick (often in a corner)

    • Example B: Small spots or streaks. This can occur on any color ink stick; however, the most common occurrence is bluish or greenish streaks on a yellow ink stick. These streaks are normal and will not affect the color of prints.
