Remove Paper and Debris From the Intermediate Belt Transfer (IBT) Cleaner

WARNING: The blade on the IBT Cleaner is very sharp.  To avoid injury, do not touch the blade when handling the IBT Cleaner.

  1. Open the front cover of machine.



  2. Locate the R6 area.

  3. Move the sliding cover on R6 to the right.



  4. Rotate the knob to the left to pop out the knob.



  5. Pull on the knob to remove the IBT Cleaner.



  6. Inspect the blade on the IBT Cleaner for paper and debris.

    WARNING: To avoid injury, do not to touch the blade.

  7. Replace the IBT Cleaner if the cleaner blade appears damaged or very dirty.

  8. Re-insert the IBT Cleaner into the slot.



  9. Press in the knob and rotate it to the right.



  10. Slide the R6 cover to the left to lock the IBT Cleaner in place.



  11. Close the front cover of the machine.
