Printer With External Fiery Server: Perform the Power Off / On Sequence for the Printer and Print Server

The following solution contains a specific procedure that is used to power the printer with the External Fiery Server off and on.    

1. Power off the printer using the power switch on the right front corner of the printer.
   
   
   
   

2. From the Fiery Server, press the [Menu] button to access the Functions menu.
   
   NOTE: Unless otherwise indicated, the function of the four buttons to the right of the Display Screen changes with the different menus. The function will be displayed to the left of the button, on the Display Screen. The Menu button is located to the left of the Display Screen and is the middle button in the group of three buttons. The Up and Down arrow buttons are located above and below, the Menu button.
   
   

3. Press the [Down] arrow button to scroll to the next page.

4. Press the [Shut Down] button. A list of options will be displayed.

5. Select [Shut Down System].
   
   IMPORTANT: Make sure the Fiery Server Display Screen is completely off before continuing.
   
   

6. Power the printer on using the power switch located on the right front corner of the printer.
   
   IMPORTANT: Make sure the printer is fully powered on before continuing; it may take a few minutes.
   
   

7. Power the External Fiery Server on using the power button located below the Display Screen on the server.
