How To Print a Configuration Report for the Device or EFI Fiery Print Server

NOTE: If your System Administrator has restricted printing of the Configuration Report, a user name and password is required to print.

The Configuration Report lists all current settings of the printer and prints at startup by default.  

The Configuration Report for the device may be printed from the Control Panel or CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) and may also be viewed from CWIS.  Follow the instructions for your preferred method.  A Configuration Report for the optional EFI Fiery Print Server may also be printed from the Fiery server.  

To Print a Device Configuration Report

To print a Configuration Report from the Control Panel:

  1. Press the Machine Status button on the Control Panel.

  2. If necessary, select the Machine Information tab.

  3. Select the Information Pages button on the Touch Screen.

  4. Select Configuration Report.

  5. Select Print.

To print a Configuration Report using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS):

  1. From the computer, open an Internet browser window.

  2. Enter the IP address of the printer in the Address field, and then press Enter on the keyboard. The CentreWare Internet Services window will be displayed.

  3. Click on the Status button.

  4. Click on Configuration Report.

  5. To print the report, click on the Print Configuration Page button.

To view the Configuration Report Using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS)

  1. From the computer, open an Internet browser window.

  2. Enter the IP address of the printer in the Address field, and then press Enter on the keyboard. The CentreWare Internet Services window will be displayed.

    NOTE: If the IP Address of the printer is unknown, print a Configuration Report or see your System Administrator. 

  3. Select Login in the top right area of the page.

  4. Under User ID, type admin.

  5. Under password, type the administrator password. 

    NOTE: The default password is 1111.

  6. Select Login.

  7. Select the Properties tab.

  8. Select General Setup.

  9. Select Configuration Report.

To Print the EFI Fiery Print Server Configuration Report:

NOTE: The following steps assume the Custom Services have been set up and enabled on the Fiery Server.

The EFI Fiery Server is an optional, external Network Controller for the printer, in addition to the standard internal Network Controller. The Fiery Server is usually attached to the back of the printer. Locations can vary depending on your printer setup.

  1. If necessary, press the Services Home button on the Control Panel. All available services will display.

  2. Select the EFI Fiery Icon button on the Touch Screen.

  3. Select the Configuration button. The Configuration Report will automatically print.
