Powering On the Xerox Nuvera

Follow these procedures to correctly power up and power down the machine. While turning the machine on and off may seem self-explanatory, there are a few conventions to adhere to, in order to avoid damage to the machine and/or loss of data.

To power on the Xerox Nuvera

The power switch is the white switch located on the right side of the machine. Press the (|) symbol embossed into the button toward the back of the machine to turn the power on.

The system begins its power-up/boot sequence.

NOTE: Do not click anywhere in the user interface before it is through booting.

When the Basic Copying screen appears, your job can be built.

The entire power on process takes approximately 5 minutes for a Xerox Nuvera model.
